What did I get myself into?

So it's hitting me. I have FOUR daughters. If anyone thinks that sounds like complete bliss has yet to consider everything that entails!

4 daughters=Thousands of boys
=4 proms (CHA CHING)
= 4 weddings (whoever came up with the "bride's parents pay for it" had boys!"
= MORE phone lines (if I ever want to receive a phone call, I'll need multiple lines!)
=MORE closet space (we currently have shoes and clothes flowing out of them!)
=stock in feminine products and make up! (I don't even want to think of the money used on those!)

Now my husband seems to think that the girls will all have jobs, boys won't be a problem, and we are going to only need one phone line. Yes he is living in la la land! I sure wish I could join him! Unfortunately, the plane left with me standing in the terminal! The boys are calling and our oldest is on the house phone more than I am!

Off to make sure the shotguns are loaded. Have a great day!

LOL it's really 8-12 proms (if they are asked by an upper classman their sophomore year then jr and sr prom ;)) and 16 home commings! I do feel your pain though.

time to board up the windows, and keep shotguns by the doors....

good luck...

Guess that's another reason to be thankful for only one child (even though that was so not the plan, I wanted a house full)

I am so right there with you Gena! I only have 3 so far but that is enough for my thoughts to wander to the same place yours are going! Although Mikaela has asked if she can wear one of my old dresses. I told her she may not want to when the time actually comes but you never know!
