Dotgirls Review and Giveaway

As most of you know, I am a mom of four girls. I just recently had to accept the fact that my oldest is hitting puberty. I have been so nervous about this whole process and swimming in the river known as Denial! I should say I was probably drowning in it!

One thing was certain, I did NOT want my daughters to learn about growing up from anyone but me! I wanted them to know that it is natural and nothing to be ashamed of. I also wanted them to know they could turn to me! I also knew that I wanted my daughter to be prepared. I did not want her to have to carry feminine products in her backpack but I wanted her to carry them discreetly.

ABOUT DOT GIRL
Dot Girls was founded by two sisters that didn't have the best experiences for their first periods. Both of these women wanted something different for their own daughters. They have hope that the period kits will help both parents and young women. This kit has the tools that parents need to start the conversations with their daughters. The period kit also has the tools that will help your daughter have a positive experience!

About the Period

The Dot Girl's First Period Kit includes:
  • The Dot Girl's First Period Guide, a 12-page booklet with answers to common questions
  • The Dot Girl's Period Calendar, a simple way for a girl to track her periods
  • One Ultra Thin Kotex Pad with wings
  • Two Kotex Lightdays Panty Liners
  • Kotex product brochure
  • One store coupon for FREE Kotex products-a $4.90 value.
  • Reusable Dot Girl Warm Pad, a heating pad handy for soothing cramps
  • Scensibles Petite Pak (3 disposable bags inside)
  • Hand Wipes
I think that every girl needs this pack! It truly is a must have item. The little carrier is also cute and discreet! I love the warm pad and the way it works! It can be taken anywhere and used without much effort! Just bend the little metal piece inside and feel it start to warm up! The only thing I would change is adding more styles for the carriers! These are even great for moms!

Check out what girls have to say!

I really like the "Before She Gets Her Period" book. I like the idea of talking about it BEFORE it comes to calm any anxiety about it.

Although it seems like a consensus, I would have to also say the "Before She Gets Her Period" book. My daughter is already asking questions, and I think it would be a helpful reference. Thanks for the giveaway chance!

I would buy the period panties for my teen. I have had to drive to the high school twice this year to bring her another pair of jeans.
